Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty
Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a minimally invasive aesthetic treatment performed by Dr Shabri to improve the shape, contour, and balance of the nose using dermal fillers. It is ideal if you are seeking correction of a bump, crooked nose, drooping tip, flat nose, or wish to refine the appearance of your nose post-surgery.
This treatment can enhance overall facial harmony, making the nose appear straighter, more delicate, and proportionate to the rest of the face without the need for surgery or downtime.
How It Works
Dr Shabri uses her specialist training in non-surgical rhinoplasty to inject dermal fillers at precise points on the nose to reshape and contour the bridge, tip, and profile. By carefully placing filler in areas of shadow and using the natural way light reflects off the nose, she can create the appearance of a straighter, smoother and more symmetrical nose without increasing its overall size.
This approach enhances the natural curves and lines of the nose, giving a desirable contour whilst maintaining a balanced and proportionate facial appearance. The technique relies on optical refinement – strategically adding volume to specific areas creates the illusion of straightness and symmetry.
In some cases, a bump may appear more noticeable due to ageing changes in the rest of the face. Dr Shabri uses 3D imaging to objectively assess facial proportions and may recommend treatment to the facial profile and other areas away from the nose itself, which can improve the overall appearance and make a wide bridge appear slimmer.

Why Choose Dr Shabri?
Dr Shabri is extensively trained in advanced dermal filler techniques and has specific expertise in the high-precision area of non-surgical rhinoplasty. Achieving safe, natural results requires precision, anatomical knowledge, and an artistic eye.
The nose is a complex area where the blood supply is connected to blood vessels supplying the eye and vision, making it a high-risk area for treatment. Through expert filler placement, she uses light reflection and shadow correction to create the appearance of a straighter, more refined nose, all whilst maintaining facial harmony. Safety and long-term results are at the heart of her approach, and every treatment is tailored to balance proportion whilst preserving your unique features.
FAQs
Am I suitable for non-surgical rhinoplasty?
A non-surgical rhinoplasty can effectively address the following concerns:
- Dorsal Hump – Bump or irregularity on the bridge of the nose
- Crooked Nose – Asymmetry or deviation in the nasal structure
- Drooping Tip – Nasal tip that points downward
- Flat Bridge – Lack of projection or definition on the nasal bridge
- Post-Surgical Irregularities – Minor imperfections following surgical rhinoplasty
- Nasal Asymmetry – Uneven appearance between left and right sides
- Lack of Definition – Undefined nasal contours or profile
- Minor Cosmetic Concerns – Small aesthetic issues affecting nasal appearance
It is not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding patients, individuals under 18, or those who have had multiple surgical rhinoplasties. Suitability is assessed during a consultation with Dr Shabri.
Will dermal filler make my nose look bigger?
This is a commonly asked question. The technique focuses on using light and shadow to create the illusion of a straighter, more refined nose. Strategic filler placement in shadowed areas actually makes the nose appear smaller and more defined, not larger.
Is non-surgical rhinoplasty safe?
Dr Shabri has undertaken specialist training in non-surgical rhinoplasty, enabling her to treat this high-risk area safely. The nose’s blood supply is connected to vessels supplying the eye and vision, which is why the procedure should only be performed by highly trained practitioners with advanced anatomical knowledge. Using high-quality dermal fillers and advanced techniques, she minimises risk whilst achieving precise, natural results.
Is there any aftercare to consider after non-surgical rhinoplasty treatments?
In the first six hours following treatment, avoid touching or applying pressure to the treated area to minimise the risk of swelling. Sleeping on your back, slightly elevated with an extra pillow, is advised on the night of treatment for the same reason.
An over-the-counter antihistamine taken the evening of your appointment and the following day can help reduce swelling. Any bruising can be managed with topical arnica gel or cream. Strenuous exercise is best avoided for 24 hours post-treatment.
If you have had filler placed on the bridge of the nose, we recommend avoiding glasses or sunglasses for 24 hours to reduce localised swelling. If treatment was limited to other areas of the nose, this precaution does not apply.
Full aftercare guidance will be provided at your appointment.
Are there any side effects?
Common side effects include temporary redness, swelling and bruising, which typically resolve within 5–7 days. To reduce the risk of bruising we suggest that you avoid omega-3 fatty acid supplements, blood thinners and alcohol for 48 hours prior to your injectable treatments. Dr Shabri provides detailed aftercare guidance to minimise complications and support a smooth recovery.
Can non-surgical rhinoplasty replace surgical rhinoplasty?
Non-surgical rhinoplasty is excellent for minor to moderate corrections and refinements. However, it cannot reduce the size of the nose, narrow the nostrils, or make significant structural changes. Dr Shabri will assess your concerns during consultation and advise whether non-surgical or surgical rhinoplasty is most appropriate for your goals. Non-surgical rhinoplasty can also be a good way of previewing how your nose may look before considering surgical rhinoplasty.
Can I have the non-surgical rhinoplasty if I've had a surgical rhinoplasty before?
Yes – we often use the non-surgical rhinoplasty technique to refine and correct minor deformities created by previous surgical rhinoplasty. It can be a good alternative to revision rhinoplasty surgery.
