Skin Boosters
Skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to deeply hydrate and revitalise the skin. They act as an internal moisturiser, improving skin texture, tone, and luminosity without adding volume. With a high concentration of hyaluronic acid combined with vitamins and minerals, these lightweight formulations integrate into the skin to restore hydration and stimulate collagen production, leaving the complexion looking fresher, smoother and more youthful.
How It Works
Skin boosters are delivered into the superficial layers of the skin using a series of fine injections. The hyaluronic acid attracts and retains water within the skin, boosting hydration levels whilst encouraging natural collagen renewal.
Unlike dermal fillers which add volume beneath the skin, skin boosters work within the skin itself to enhance quality, texture and radiance from the inside out. The treatment provides a foundation of hydration that supports the skin’s natural regeneration processes.
Treatment Areas
Skin boosters are particularly effective for dull or tired skin, early signs of ageing, fine lines, crepey texture, and areas that have lost elasticity.
They can be used to refresh and hydrate multiple areas, including:

FAQs
Is the treatment suitable for me?
Skin boosters are ideal for men and women aged 30 onwards who wish to improve hydration, skin quality, and early signs of ageing. They are a great option for dull, tired, or dehydrated skin, smokers’ lines, or those wanting natural skin quality improvements. This treatment is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have used Roaccutane within the last 3–6 months.
Will it hurt?
Minor discomfort may be experienced with the application of skin boosters. This can be alleviated through the use of a topical numbing cream, applied 20 – 30 minutes prior to the treatment.
Are there any side effects or risks?
Side effects typically include bumps where treatment has been carried out, redness, swelling and bruising at the treatment site. These effects usually subside within 24 – 72 hours.
How quickly will I see results?
Improvement in your skin can be seen after just one treatment but the recommended protocol is 3 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart for a cumulative effect and optimal results.
Can this treatment be combined with others?
As this treatment focuses on improving skin quality, it is a great treatment to combine with other treatments for example dermal filler or anti-wrinkle treatments which target volume loss and wrinkle reduction. Healthy skin enhances the results of other treatments and Dr Shabri can recommend a tailored combination approach specific for you.
